Його Преосвященству співслужила братія монастиря. Богослужіння супроводжувалось співом кліросного хору. На Великому славослів’ї плащаниця із зображенням Божої Матері була урочисто обнесена навколо Михайлівського собору. Чисельні віряни, які прийшли на вечірню службу, змогли прикластись до образу Пресвятої Богородиці, покладеної у гріб, отримати архієрейське благословення та помазатись освяченим єлеєм.

Увечері 29 серпня 2010 року преосвященнійший Агапіт (Гуменюк), намісник Свято-Михайлівського Золотоверхого монастиря звершив всенічне бдіння з чином Погребіння Пресвятої Богородиці.
